Camila Cabello has released two instant-grat tracks from her forthcoming debut solo album, Camila.

The two tracks, ‘Never Be The Same’, which is being promoted as Camila’s next single by Epic Records, and ‘Real Friends’, are available to download and stream now. Both tracks continue to showcase Camila’s versatility as an artist, as they highlight very different musical sides to her.

‘Never Be The Same’ is a powerful offering which captures your attention immediately. Camila showcases her breathy vocals as she sings that someone’s love is “just like nicotine, heroin, morphine, suddenly I’m a fiend and you’re all I need.” The chorus captures her emotion perfectly, making it a brilliant choice for her next single.

On the other hand, ‘Real Friends’ is Camila’s most stripped back offering yet. Whilst we love hearing her big instrumental sound, it’s also lovely for her vocals to be at the forefront, with just a soft guitar accompaniment. Think along the lines of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’, but with a Camila twist.

Listen to ‘Never Be The Same’ and ‘Real Friends’ below.

Camila announced her debut solo album earlier this week via an Instagram post. Describing the album as “the soundtrack to the past year of my life”, she revealed that her self-titled offering will be released on January 12.

Whilst the tracklist remains a surprise for the time being, we know that it will feature ‘Never Be The Same’, and ‘Real Friends’, in addition to her global hit ‘Havana’, the biggest song of her career to date. Since its release, the track has surpassed 410 million Spotify streams, making Camila the fourth most streamed artist in the world. It is currently spending its fifth week at number one in the UK, making Camila the longest running female number one since Adele’s 2011 hit ‘Someone Like You’.

2017 has been a truly spectacular year for Camila. Just last week, she was named as Billboard’s 2017 Breakthrough Artist at their annual Women in Music awards. Camila has also picked up a string of other awards, including ‘Best Pop’ at the MTV EMA and Mejor artista LO+40 at the Los 40 Music Awards. In addition to her glittering music career, Camila has also ventured into the world of fashion and beauty, landing partnerships with GUESS, L’Oreal, and Skechers.

We couldn’t be more excited for Camila Cabello’s debut album – if these new tracks are anything to go by, then we’re in for an incredible treat.

Pre-order Camila now and receive ‘Never Be The Same’ and ‘Real Friends’ as instant-grat tracks.

Camila will be released on January 12, 2018.
