DUCKWRTH is well on his way to becoming the next big hip-hop star, and we got a chance to see him perform at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on April 8!
If you haven’t already heard of DUCKWRTH, this charismatic and unique hip-hop artist has been on fire lately! His most recent sounds came out in November 2017 on “An XTRA UUGLY Mixtape.” He is currently on tour with electronic music producer What So Not.
To give a small indication of how quickly his fan base is growing, his latest music video for “TAMAGOTCHI” has racked up 88 thousand views in just 5 days!
DUCKWRTH put on an infectious show in Santa Ana, visibly feeling the crowd’s excitement and giving that energy right back. He opened the show with “XTRA,” which is the first song off his latest mixtape. The crowd was immediately intrigued by him, and the connection only continued to grow from there.
“WAKE UP!” had the entire crowd head banging, while “MICHUUL.” inspired a venue-wide dance party. Something that we loved about DUCKWRTH is that he’s not afraid to dance and show that he’s having a good time. While some rappers tend to be more serious onstage, DUCKWRTH seemed to have some choreographed moves and planned moments of crowd involvement. This made for a fun, upbeat show.
