Following a stunning performance of the song at Elite Talent over the weekend, singer-songwriter David Mark Bulley has shared his cover of Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ on YouTube.
Fans of David will know that Sia is one of his musical inspirations, and after receiving many requests to cover one of her songs, he finally bit the bullet and opted for ‘Chandelier’ as his chosen song. Considering that Sia is a vocal powerhouse, anyone who chooses to tackle one of her songs is either incredibly brave or stupid, but we’re happy to share that David absolutely nailed the song.
Teamed up with a beautiful piano track, David’s vocals are completely stirring from the off. There is plenty of light and shade throughout the song, with David’s gentle vocal flowing over the verses before he demonstrates his vocal prowess during the chorus. The cover is so powerful that you can feel every bit of emotion in his voice.

2017 has been an incredible year for David so far. Back in March, he released the Purge-inspired music video for his single ‘Where Do We Go From Here’, which has since amassed over 112,000 views. This was followed by the release of his latest EP Prologue, a captivating collection of tracks which were carefully woven together to tell David’s story.
Additionally, he has been on the road both in the UK and in Poland. He supported Polish singer Sylwia Przybysz on two legs of her Tylko Raz tour, whilst also making appearances at BurtonFest and Elite Talent in the UK.
