Rising star Donel is ready to reach stratospheric heights with his brand new single ‘Planets’.
Penned by Donel along with Pete Boxsta Martin and Dantae Johnson, ‘Planets’ is a slick pop/RnB offering which tells the sweet tale of a young love.
“Yeah, tell me how to love you, tell me how to love you right / ‘Cause I only see planets in your eyes, yeah / Everybody chasing, everybody’s chasing stars / I see you for who you really are”, sings Donel with a smooth blend of emotion and affection.
Best known for coming runner up in The Voice UK last year, Donel’s latest release shows a great deal of maturity. Whilst he was already a superstar in the making on the show, by releasing his own material he continues to prove that he has all the essential qualities needed to be the UK’s next music sensation.

Donel will be returning to The Voice UK stage during this weekend’s semi final to perform ‘Planets’ for the first time.
Since finishing as runner up on The Voice last year, Donel has been on a superb journey, all whilst cementing his status as one to watch in the industry.
His debut single ‘Bang Like A Drum’ has amassed over three million streams on Spotify alone, and he was also personally invited by Prince Harry to perform at the Queen’s 92nd birthday concert.
