Up and coming London production duo Electric Pineapple have recruited singer songwriter Ben Lythe and industry newcomer Raver for their brand new single ‘Good Girls, Bad Habits’.
The duo, made up of Andrew Kingslow and Trina Smith, have years of experience in the industry having worked with the likes of Lilly Allen, M.I.A and Virgin/EMI producing tracks throughout their behind the scenes career.
Now they’re taking to the spotlight to release their own solo material with ‘Good Girls, Bad Habits’; a slow burning dance track with a commercial pop edge echoing a mainstream tried and tested sound.
With a raspy lead from Ben Lythe and a dreamy uniqueness offered by Raven, the song perfectly captures a summer vibe to take you back to the days of being care free in the sun.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Good Girls, Bad Habits’, Electric Pineapple say,
“The record tells the story of taking love for granted, how we don’t always know what we had until it’s taken away.
Time gives you the perspective to see things from other angles but sometimes that’s too late! ‘I wish I’d never let you go’ is the moment where pride has gotten in the way of love, then the dawning realisation that you messed things up and the love has gone”.
The rising producers have been busy so far this year, already releasing two previous solo singles. One a dance floor filler featuring former X-Factor star Ryan Lawrie and the other their debut single, a snazzy dance-pop anthem, featuring Matt Gallagher.
Their new single ‘Good Girls, Bad Habits’ is out now.
