Following on from the release of new single ‘Habit’ with emerging producer Rob Late, along with recently unveiling the music video for the track , exceptionally singer and song-writer Emily Middlemas has released an acoustic version of the single.
The acoustic track was released as a surprise for her dedicated fan-base, who continues to support her through her continuous successful music career.
The song was written and produced by UK-based producer Rob Late, who continues to write and produce music for up and coming artists, along with working on producing more of his own music.
‘Habit’ tells the story of continually falling in love, only to find out that the person unfortunately wasn’t the one, with strength coming from a heartbreak.
The stripped back, acoustic version of the track ultimately lets Emily’s breath-taking and beautiful vocals shine through. The story-telling of the track is further evidenced in this track, and we absolutely love it!
She also recently released a music video for the track. The video showcases Emily’s personality and features a local Scottish cast. You can watch the music video below:
Emily Middlemas appeared on ‘The X Factor’ in 2016 and was mentored by Simon Cowell. She finished in overall fourth place in the competition. Since coming off the show, she has gone from strength to strength – including releasing several singles to embarking on her debut headline tour around the UK – and as she embarks on a new chapter in her music career, we can’t wait to hear more music from her!
