Enation are a fast rising alternative post-punk-rock 3 piece band from Nashville, Tennessee. They are fronted by the Nashville star Jonathan Jackson who plays Avery Barkley in the hit US drama that will end later this year after 6 seasons. The trio also consists of Richard Lee Jackson and Jonathan Thatcher.
Jackson is currently touring the UK and Ireland alongside his Nashville cast-mates; Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio and Chris Carmack and last night played a stellar show at the O2 Arena in London. The TV show which also stars Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes is credited with the massive boom the British country scene is currently enjoying.
During the spectacular Nashville concert at the Cardiff Motorpoint arena on Friday, April 20th as part of the Farewell UK Tour – which CelebMix attended– Jonathan Jackson admitted to the sold out crowd that he didn’t want this show to be his last time in Cardiff or the UK and it’s looking likely that Brit fans will be able to catch the supremely talented singer-songwriter live again on our shores very soon.
The Enation lead singer took to Twitter earlier today (April 22nd) to confirm that his band will be announcing news for the UK tomorrow;

It’s looking likely that the news will be a tour announcement with a string of live shows set to be confirmed over the next 24 hours.
