Attention all American Horror Story fans! Evan Peters has revealed he will not be a part of the ninth season of the hit horror TV show. He has been on the show since season one.
In a recent interview with Extra, Evan revealed the big news.
Unfortunately, there are no details on the plot of the upcoming season and a premiere date has yet to be set. Hopefully we will get some clues on the theme of the new season over the summer.
Here’s a look back at all of Evan’s characters throughout the seasons:
Season One (2011): Murder House
Tate was a problematic teen who was in love with the main character, Violet, played by Taissa Farmiga.
Season Two (2012): Asylum
Kit was sent to Briarcliff, the asylum the show is based on, due to the suspicion that he killed his wife among other women.
Season Three (2013): Coven
Kyle was a college student that was killed in a tragic bus crash, but was resurrected by two teenage witches.
Season Four (2014): Freakshow
Jimmy just wanted to be treated like everyone else, but people looked at him and his friends differently.
Season Five (2015): Hotel
Mr. March was a rich man, who was the reason the Hotel Cortez was built. However, he was also a serial killer.
Season Six (2016): Roanoke
Evan played two different characters in Roanoke. He played an actor named Rory Monahan who played a character on a TV show named Edward Philippe Mott.
Season Seven (2017): Cult
Kai was a cult leader who wanted to run for a politician in town, and would do whatever it took to get to the top.
Season Eight (2018): Apocalypse
Apocalypse was a crossover episode that featured characters from previous seasons such as Coven and Murder House. Mr. Gallant was a hairdresser that was in the right place at the right time.
We are hopeful that Evan will return for another season in the future.
