We first got to know singer-songwriter Gabz when she wowed the audience and judges alike on Britain’s Got Talent in 2013. Her audition song ‘Lighters (The One)’ was incredibly well received and after the show it even charted at number six on the official UK singles chart.
Since then, Gabz has released a string of great songs and now she is kicking off her 2018 in style with her new track ‘Losing No Sleep’. The track was released at the end of January and showcases everything we love about the artist as she both raps and sings throughout. ‘Losing No Sleep’ is another mature offering from Gabz, proving that she is wise beyond her young years.
Over the weekend, Gabz dropped the incredible music video for the song. Directed by Chris Brooker, the visual tells the story of the song perfectly as we see the breakdown of a couple, with the girl thinking that she’s lost her loved one to someone else.
However, as Gabz sings that she ‘ain’t losing no sleep, cos this has got to be a nightmare’, we see the girl wake up in her partner’s arms once more, right where she belongs. Watch the video for ‘Losing No Sleep’ below.
Aside from working on her original music, Gabz is also one of the 100 judges on the new BBC One show All Together Now. The concept of the show is simple – singers and groups take it in turns to try and impress the panel of 100 judges. If the judges like what they hear, they press their buzzer, stand up and sing along to the chosen song. The more judges that stand up, the better. Having been judged on BGT, it’s a novel concept for Gabz to be on the other end of things this time!
