Birmingham born, London raised singer Harlea recently released her third single Beautiful Mess. The track saw her top the Amazing Radio chart; the platform for new music and artist discovery. She has also announced she will be playing The Lexington, London as part of a BBC Introducing show on 6th December alongside Mellah and Pizzagirl.
Beautiful Mess has been added to New Music Playlists including the UK on Spotify and received plays on BBC Introducing. The video for the track was directed by Abraham Roofeh and shot in the Californian desert and features poets Robert Montgomery and Greta Bellamacina. When speaking of Beautiful Mess, Harlea explains “The song is powerful and raw, it’s relatable to the world in which we live. Life is the most beautiful gift we have but humanity has an inbuilt destructive nature which inevitably creates a mess. I feel like this single shows another side of who I am as an artist. It’s still edgy and raw but has a more contemporary feel.”
Harlea as previously mentioned will be playing The Lexington on 6th December. Also on the line-up is South-London multi-instrumentalist Mellah and indie/80s pop/everything in between artist Pizzagirl. To buy tickets for the BBC Introducing Show (Age restriction: 18+), head here.
