James Arthur has announced that his next single will be ‘Can I Be Him’, the third single to be taken from his platinum selling album Back From The Edge.
‘Can I Be Him’ has proven to be a fan favourite from the album and shows off James’ distinctive vocal perfectly. It follows on from number one hit ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’, and ‘Safe Inside’.
James’ epic comeback shows no signs of slowing down. ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’, his first release in over two years, has since sold over 4.8 million copies globally and has been streamed over 460 million times. The track continues to grow in the States too, and recently broke into the Top 10 on the iTunes Chart and Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Following on from his March tour which sold out in minutes, he recently announced his first UK arena tour which kicks off in Leeds on November 16. The nine-date tour will see James visit England, Wales and Scotland, supported by Ella Henderson.
Later this month, James will return to the US for performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He is also set to support OneRepublic on their US arena tour in the summer. Additionally, we can expect to see James perform at a number of UK festivals this year, as well as headline shows in Europe and Asia.
On October 5, James will release his thought-provoking memoir, Back To The Boy. In the book, he will reflect on his troubled past as well as his phenomenal comeback. It is certainly going to be an eye-opening read, and we can’t wait to hear James’ story in his own words.
