R&B sensation Justin Love is back with his second release of 2019, the moody ‘Bad Mind’.
Produced by Source (Fetty Wap, NBA Youngboy, Kirko Bangz), ‘Bad Mind’ is a slick offering which sees Justin discussing the effects of a past relationship. Armed with a hazy production and Justin’s soulful vocals, the track showcases his vulnerability as an artist yet it also doubles up as a chill out anthem for a hot summer’s day.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Justin said: “My love wasn’t enough, so she decided to search for love elsewhere. She rather the night life.”
Take a listen to ‘Bad Mind’ below.
Born and raised in New Jersey, with Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Chinese roots, Justin started out his music career by performing at his local mall. This allowed him to hone his incredible talent, as the self-taught artist built up his confidence and sound along the way.
Since then, he has grown considerably as an artist and has co-written for many others, even earning a Grammy nomination for his role in H.E.R.’s hit ‘Focus’. The R&B star has also been praised by some of the world’s most high profile artists, including Nicki Minaj and Alicia Keys.
2019 looks set to be another sensational year for Justin Love and we look forward to seeing what he has in store for us. ‘Bad Mind’ is just the latest in a string of singles which Justin will release over the next few months and follows in the footsteps of ‘Runaway’.
