Marvel fans, get excited!
Karen Gillan has tweeted a thrilling behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! The 28 year old actress plays Thanos’s blue-skinned, bald-headed daughter, Nebula and we were left wondering what happened to her at the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy. In the photo, we can see her flying around on a blue-screen set, held up by wires and a harness.
It is thought that Nebula may not be bald in the next film and as we can see, Gillan has her long locks flying about so this may be true…unless it is going to be left up to the digital effects artists to do the shaving if a bald cap is out of the question this time.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will continue the team’s adventures as they unpick the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. It will be written and directed by James Gunn.
Our favourite characters are going to be returning alongside Gillan. The gorgeous Chris Pratt will be back as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of the lovable Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondue, Sean Gunn as Kraglin. There will also be some new characters including Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on May 5th, 2017.
