Kid Cudi took to Facebook Tuesday night to inform fans that he’s seeking help for his depression and suicidal urges.
In a status, he tells fans he’s been struggling since his career began. He suffers from anxiety and depression, and has kept quiet about it for years. But he’s finally decided he deserves happiness.
Cudi says he won’t be able to promote much of his new music, but he assures fans that it’s still coming. His management team will continue to keep new releases on track. Additionally, Cudi hopes to be well enough by his performance at ComplexCon on November 5th.
He ends the status with an apology.
“Love and light to everyone who has love for me and I am sorry if I let anyone down. I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like shit, I feel so ashamed. Im sorry.”
