Hannah Jane Lewis continues her quest to “wrap the world up in a big ball of pink glittery colourful energy” with her new single ‘Raincheck’, released via Hot Hot Records/Polydor.
Bursting with synths, ‘Raincheck’ has an infectious melody and is laden with pop vibes. The track is exciting and shows that Hannah is one to watch. We can also expect huge remixes by Jack from Fickle Friends, KC Lights and Embody, which are set to propel the song to even dizzier heights.
Speaking about the song, Hannah said: ‘Raincheck’ is about giving someone just enough to keep them interested, but never too much where they know what is coming next. It’s the initial stages of a relationship when you keep your cards close to your chest, before you are both brave enough to let your guard down.”

Hannah’s musical journey truly began when she moved from sleepy Surrey to Florida when she was 14. Whilst immersing herself in U.S college life, she took musical inspiration from the likes of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani. She later moved to New York, were she attended the prestigious Tisch School of The Arts.
When she returned to the UK in her 20’s, she shifted her focus to writing and recording her own music. Her previous three independent releases, ‘Hide and Go Seek’, ‘Bend or Break’, and ‘Why Start A War’, received praise from the likes of Buzzfeed, Line of Best Fit, Clash and Popjustice.
Having created her own brand of sparkly pop, we’re excited to see what the future holds for Hannah Jane Lewis.
