K-pop sensations Monsta X have signed to Epic Records for their English language recordings and worldwide distribution ex Korea.

They will be joining the likes of Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor, and Zara Larsson, who are also a part of Epic’s roster.

Speaking about the partnership, Epic Records Chairman and C.E.O. Sylvia Rhone said: “K-pop has indelibly impacted the global conversation and influenced culture everywhere. At the top of that conversation, you’ll find Monsta X. They’re ushering the genre into the future with an original style befitting of their experience, passion, and diverse influences. We’re honored to welcome them to the Epic Records family.”

Monsta X added, “We are thrilled to join the Epic Family alongside some of the artists we admire the most. This is like a dream come true and we still can’t believe that this is happening to us. We can’t thank our monbebe enough for their endless support and for making everything possible.”

The news comes ahead of Monsta X’s forthcoming We Are Here world tour. The tour will see Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, perform to huge crowds across Australia, Europe, and the US. Amongst those dates will be a stop at London’s SSE Arena. A full list of dates can be found here.

Monsta X are known for their euphoric music which blends together elements of K-pop, rock, hip-hop and pop. The band already have numerous hits under their belts, including ‘HERO’, ‘DRAMARAMA’, and their Steve Aoki collaboration, ‘Play It Cool’.

Their most recent offering, Take.2 We Are Here charted at number five on the Billboard Top World Albums Chart and gained praise from a number of high profile tastemakers. With the group currently working on new music, we have no doubt that they will continue to make their mark on the industry across the world.
