Nadine Coyle is back with a brand new empowering female anthem called ‘Girls On Fire’. The track is taken from her forthcoming four-track EP, which is due for release in April.
Armed with an infectious beat, ‘Girls On Fire’ is a bop to say the least. The track showcases Nadine’s powerful, distinct vocals perfectly and is full of lyrics which allow her to hype up her fellow females.
This one’s for my girls, they’re on fire
And you know that you got it, you know that they’re doing it well
This one’s for my girls, we’re on fire
And you can see it way from heaven, you know that we’re hotter than hell
Speaking to Attitude about the single, Nadine said: “Well ‘Girls On Fire’ is very, very sassy. It’s very much, ‘We can do whatever we want’, speaking from a position of power. I don’t like to write or be involved with songs that make anybody a victim. No victims around here! So we’ve made something that’s really powerful.
“When you’re listening to it, it can make your heart speed up, like you’ve had too much coffee. It’s one of those songs. It’s a really belter too, you’ve got to really clear your throat and get ready. I just want people to hear it and enjoy it.”

‘Girls On Fire’ is the follow up to the equally infectious ‘Go To Work’. We can expect to hear both tracks live when Nadine heads out on a UK tour in May. Alongside her solo material, Nadine will also be performing some of Girls Aloud’s greatest hits. With a huge discography to choose from, we don’t envy the tough job of picking the perfect setlist.
