New Hope Club have released their new single Permission, much to the delight of fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting its release since it was announced on Monday.
Permission signals the start of a new era of the trio and kicks off their 2019 with a bang. We’ve been following New Hope Club for a couple of years now and this new, mature sound is a step in a new and really exciting direction. The incredibly catchy track which can be heard below makes it impossible to not sing along and just from teasers alone we’ve seen fans picking up the “we don’t need permission for nothing” lyric and posting it all across Twitter.
Marking their first original release since Welcome To The Club Pt.2, vocally the trio’s voices work together flawlessly to create a really unique and special sound. Lyrically the content sings of growing up, not wanting to be held down from doing anything you desire whether that’s waking up the neighbours, falling in love or even being drunk. It’s funky, fun and fabulous; everything a New Hope Club track should be. New Hope Club definitely don’t need permission to carrying on releasing great tracks like this.
New Hope Club have announced they’re going to be hanging out in Leicester Square, London today from 4pm. We’re not quite sure exactly what they’ve got planned but be sure to head down to get involved!
If you like what you hear then be sure to check New Hope Club out when they support The Vamps on their Four Corners UK tour kicking off in April. For all the details and dates head here. Hopefully this year will see the trio playing more headline shows after the success of their Road To The Empire dates last year. We can’t wait to hear Permission live as we reckon it’ll be an instant fan favourite in their set.
