New Music Round Up: 10/07/18

Welcome back to CelebMix’s New Music Round Up. The scorching sun is showing no signs of slowing down at the moment, and neither are our favourite artists. This week saw a whole host of incredible releases, so without further ado, let’s recap some of this week’s new singles and albums.

Leading the pack are Years & Years, who released their incredible sophomore album Palo Santo. If that wasn’t enough, they also released a new version of ‘If You’re Over Me’ featuring SHINee’s Key. Justin Timberlake dropped a surprise track called ‘SoulMate’, whilst Niall Horan released ‘Finally Free’ taken from the new movie Small Foot.

On the subject of former boyband members, this week saw five guys make their solo debuts. The Wanted’s Max George was the first off the block with the release of ‘Barcelona’ closely followed by McFly’s Danny Jones who released ‘Is This Still Love’. Later on in the week, former Union J star George Shelley dropped his single ‘Technicolour’, whilst The Scheme’s Kris James released his debut offering ‘Eyes Open’. Finally, Hometown’s Dayl Cronin released ‘Runaway Love’.

Elsewhere, we were treated to new releases from Iggy Azalea, NHS Voices, Raye, Holland, Ward Thomas, Why Don’t We, BROCKHAMPTON, Azealia Banks, Alex Velea, Antonia and Lino Golden, Micke Moreno, Riya, OBB, Monsta X’s Hyungwon and DJ Jimmy Cash, Ina Wroldsen and more.
