Roman Road have released their new single ‘Wazzup Girl’. The five piece boyband, made up of Aaron, Adam, Cliff, David, and Jay, dropped the track on Friday and we’ve been hitting the repeat button ever since.
After sharing teasers with their fans on Twitter, it’s safe to say that the full track was worth the wait. In true Roman Road style, the track is infectious from the off. ‘Wazzup Girl’ has a slick vibe throughout and a standout electro-filled chorus. The song allows each member to showcase their vocals and we guarantee you’ll be singing along after just one listen.
Speaking to us about the track last month, Roman Road said: “Fans can expect something a little different with this track. We wanted something that was individual to what other artists, especially boybands, are doing at the minute, but remained current in the charts.”
“We wanted a really catchy sound and when we heard the intro with the whistles, we knew this was exactly what we were going for. The song is essentially about being a gentlemen and just checking up on your girl or waiting for the next time for them to be in contact.”

‘Wazzup Girl’ follows on from ‘Let Me Try’, which Roman Road released earlier this year. The band have also released a string of covers throughout 2017, most recently their version of Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’.
2017 has been a great year for Roman Road and we’re excited to see what this boyband will deliver next year.
