RVBY releases the music video for early summer flick ‘Honey Bee’

Bristol-based RVBY is ready with your first track of the summer. ‘Honey Bee’ is an infectiously airy three minutes of pop perfection.

With just two releases to her name, Bristol-based RVBY is a relatively new kid on the block. Citing Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, alongside Sigrid, as influences, this week she premieres the music video for latest single ‘Honey Bee’.

As a 9 to 5 worker loses the stress of everyday life to dance around London wearing a huge smiling head, it’s the uplifting visual ‘Honey Bee’ deserves: “It’s about big dreamers. But when those people get caught up in the daily routine of their working lives it can stop the colour from coming in. I wrote this song to say I have the same big dream and I’m going to try and make it a reality.”

With a hook you’ll be singing all day long, it’s a flick that deserves to be on all of your summer playlists. Already gathering support from the likes of The Line of Best Fit, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, people are tuning in to RVBY’s pop sound. What’s more, the singer/songwriter has spoken of a long line of singles ready and an EP in the works – exciting times ahead for new fans.
