Sean Smith Teams Up With Beware The Bear On New Single “Show Me Love”

Now, this was an unexpected surprise, as Beware The Bear and Sean Smith release their new collaborative single “Show Me Love”, and they manage to give us an addictive and unforgettable track. The song follows up Beware The Bear’s single “Here We Go” which featured Martha’s Man, and Sean Smith’s single “Do Or Die” – which we premiered here on CelebMix.

Beware The Bear are a band hailing from Portsmouth, UK. They do not have social media and so not a lot are known about them, however, they’ve been building up their music career with their collaborations and releases. This time they brought Sean Smith, from Same Difference fame, onto their new track. Sean Smith has gone on to build a great solo career for himself since The X Factor brother-sister duo parted ways. He previously released singles “Turn Me On“, “Magic”, and “Fire“, with the latter track becoming his most streamed Spotify song to date, at almost 200,000 streams. He has also collaborated on Peter Wilson’s single “Verona” which is a cover of the Koit Toome & Laura track of the same name that represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017; as well as this, late last year, he featured on Ben Davidson’s album track titled “Dirty Mirrors”. This year will see him release his debut album following his recent release, “Do Or Die“. We even managed to interview him about his single and upcoming music releases.

This new song has been written by Thomas Oliver Cattermole, Russell Edmonds, Neil Thomas Elliott, and Ben Whyntie. You may have even heard it before today, especially if you’re a regular viewer of the incredible BBC drama MotherFatherSon which stars Richard Gere, Helen McCrory, and Sarah Lancashire, as it was used in one of the episodes.

It’s something new and different, vocally, from Sean Smith who we’re used to hearing high dance numbers from. “Show Me Love” is more of an indie-rock-pop sound that is certainly a grower of a song. By the end of it, you’ll have to click the replay button as it hooks you by the very end.

Talking about the track, Sean Smith stated: “My sound and style is evolving all the time, and I’m proud of that. I loved working with Beware The Bear on this track.”
