It’s no more nice guy season! With brutal lyrics and a seriously killer beat, Set It Off’s incredible new single ‘Hypnotized’ definitely packs one hell of a punch!
Lyrically, the unforgiving track directly addresses someone who has been deceitful and it allows the band to creatively channel their anger in the best way possible. It’s in a similar vein to ‘Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing‘; the eighth song on the band’s second album.
‘Hypnotized’ originally premiered last October and since then, it’s been a clear fan favourite. By teaming up with director Matt Alonzo, the Floridian rockers have now treated fans to an official video for the track and it certainly hasn’t disappointed.
Sharing the visuals on Facebook, Set It Off said: “We are extremely proud to present the music video for ‘Hypnotized’. Writing this song was an extremely cathartic experience with all of that pent-up anger being let out. Making this video felt no different.”
“We understand how important it is to be able to let out your anger, unleash your inner demons, and just act out every once in a while. Songs like this allow you to do that. We also realize this is one of your favorites and we love giving you all what you want.”
‘Hypnotized’ is available here on iTunes. The music video is the fourth to be released from the band’s third album ‘Upside Down’ and it follows: ‘Uncontainable‘, ‘Something New‘ and ‘Life Afraid‘. That’s, without a doubt, a fantastic run of singles.

Over the years, Set It Off have proven their phenomenal musical talent time and time again. With a diverse collection of tunes, the band are constantly making smiles out of frowns and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for them.
