One of 2018’s biggest success stories, Sigrid now announces her debut album ‘Sucker Punch’.
Sigrid, the 22-year-old Norwegian pop sensation, today announced her debut album Sucker Punch. The record is set for release on March 1st 2019 and will continue the pop star’s meteoric rise.
CelebMix recently headed down to Sigrid’s show at Paris’ La Gaité Lyrique to catch the singer live, where she shone with her flawless vocals and refreshingly simple show. It’s that raw talent that has helped Sigrid shoot to the top of the charts over the past year and a half.
2017’s ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ marked the young star out as one to watch and this year’s Gold-certified ‘Strangers’ and A-List record ‘High Five’ have followed through on those promising early signs.

A breath of fresh air in the music industry, Sigrid has already won over fans across the world with knockout sets at Glastonbury, Coachella and a host of American talk shows. The BBC Sound of 2018 winner now prepares to support George Ezra on his sold-out arena tour in March, before opening for Maroon 5 in June.
Sucker Punch, also the name of the pop star’s latest ricocheting single, was penned in Sigrid’s hometown of Alesund in Norway. The ‘Plot Twist’-singer has also been working closely with hitmaker Emily Warren (IDGAF, No More Sad Songs, Paris) on the upcoming release.
Sucker Punch is available for pre-order now.
