The loved and admired CW show, “Supernatural” has announced that it will be ending following their 15th season.
With an announcement on Jensen Ackles’ personal Instagram account, and a message later posted on Jared Padalecki’s, the two on-screen brothers and Misha Collins looked solemn.
The show, which has been on TV for 15 years, has allowed for the entire cast and crew to feel like family. During the video announcement, all three stars thanked their fans for sticking around for so long.
We’ve cried some tears and we’ll cry some more, but we’re grateful and we’re going to work all that emotion into next season.
Jared Padalecki
Although they haven’t begun filming season 15 as of yet, they acknowledged that doing so would be a difficult task for everyone involved with the show.
We just told the crew that even though we’re very excited to be moving into our 15th season, it will be our last.

The show has been fundamental in the lives of millions of viewers. It’s even spurred on conventions, countless YouTube montages, charities and even deeply personal tattoos for fans.
We’re incredibly sad to see the show come to an end, but we cannot thank the SPN cast and crew enough for the amazing work they’ve done for the last 15 years.
They’ve allowed for a ginormous community of people to feel connected to one another — their work is insurmountable and we’re very excited to see what the future has in store for Jared, Jensen, Misha and the rest of the people who made this possible.
