First of all, we’re quite excited that Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will be returning as their beloved characters, Rapunzel and Flynn. Tangled was released back in 2010 and we are quite lucky to have the original main actors return to the series. Pascal and Maximus, Rapunzel and Flynn’s lively animal companions, will be returning as well.
While we’re looking forward to this never before seen chapter of Rapunzel and Flynn’s lives, there comes the question about Rapunzel’s hair. Rapunzel’s hair was cut and turned brown at the end of the original film. Either this series will be somewhere before the original or something is up with her magical hair.
As a result, some may be wondering why Rapunzel’s hair is long and blonde in the new series’ preview. This series will take place between the original film and the short follow-up film from 2012, Tangled Ever After.
We will have to wait until 2017 to see what Rapunzel and Flynn were up to. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with a Disney classic.
