The 2022 MTV EMAs took place at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Sunday (November 13) and brought together the best talent in the music industry under one roof. Hosted by Rita Ora and Taika Waititi, the event awarded some of the industry’s most notable talents with performances from Stormzy, Bebe Rexha, GAYLE, Tate McRae and One Republic.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift appeared unannounced at the 2022 MTV EMAs, looking as bejewelled as ever and leaving everyone surprised, as she swept the most awards, becoming the top winner of the night. The ‘Midnights’ queen strutted down the 2022 MTV EMAs red carpet in one of her most daring looks yet.
Taylor paraded her slender legs as she led the star-studded event in a bold David Koma black ensemble comprising a black bodysuit with spaghetti straps and a show-stopping, jewel-embellished sheer netted skirt adorned with large emerald gemstones, glistening in the spotlights. She turned heads and flaunted the busty look, accentuating her slender waist and perfectly toned figure, as the dazzling jewelled sheer skirt covered the bottom half of the look.
The 32-year-old music megastar looked sensational as she paired the outfit with chic black slingback stilettos and edgy ear cuffs, and completed her look with glamourous makeup, soft pink glossy lips, blusher and winged eyes with silver sparkle. Her hair swept into an intricate bun, leaving her heavyset bangs at the focal point, bringing the wow factor.
One dress wasn’t enough for Swift, as she changed from her low-cut, jewel-crusted black ensemble into another thigh-length sequined lustre dress featuring a black polo collar and half sleeves, by the time of her best artist acceptance speech, giving an illusion of a long t-shirt dress that’s both comfortable and glamorous. Both dresses were by designer David Koma and she kept her makeup on with a bun with bangs.
Rita Ora and Taika Waititi
Becoming the first couple to co-host the awards bash, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi looked crisp at the musical gala. Rita Ora amped up the heat and wowed everyone as she went braless in an eye-popping, plunging mesh Elie Saab jumpsuit on the 2022 MTV EMAs red carpet.
The singer wore a black and red lace bodysuit with a plunging keyhole neckline and bare back, flaunting her toned figure and tattoos all on the display. With her beau Taika Waititi on her arm in a crisp black-tie suit, Rita looked so in love adorning floating eyeliner, white eyeshadow and her gorgeous honey blonde hair in subtle waves, flowing past her shoulders. She finished her look by pairing the stunning ruffled floral outfit with a pair of chunky black platform heels, a stack of bracelets, and several rings.
Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha incorporated art with high fashion couture as she swaggered the red carpet in an edgy blue velvet bodysuit by Fjolla Nila. She donned a velvet blue head-to-toe ensemble for the award evening, with an abstract panel draped around surrounding her giving an illusion of a flower petal, and wowed in a high-fashion look on the 2022 MTV EMAs red carpet. The singer paired matching blue velvet high heels with her outfit and opted for glam makeup that included smokey eyes, contoured cheeks, and glossy lips, leaving her blonde locks flowing like a waterfall.
Ava Max
Ava Max looked absolutely gorgeous as she opted for the vampy fashion theme that looked highly appealing and stood out on the red carpet. She donned a green velvet Roberto Cavalli cutaway dress with a long sweeping train, embracing the darker, edgier fashion and opting for the complementing gothic glam makeup and black high heels, leaving her long blonde hair locks open in subtle waves.
Tate McRae
As usual, American, European, and global superstars swaggered in their best designer dresses and outfits on the 2022 MTV EMAs red carpet. The Canadian singer, Tate McRae, looked ravishing as she arrived at the show and made waves donning an all-black Versace ensemble. It comprised glossy leather pants, and a corseted puffer jacket with fluff arms with matching boots, looking characteristically gorgeous. She accessorised her look with golden hoops, chains and rings and opted for nude glam makeup, including smokey eyes and soft pink glossy lips.
Riccardo Simonetti
German entertainer, presenter, author, model, actor and columnist, Riccardo Simonetti, is the man of many hats, and he kind of proved it this year. He brought money literally to the red carpet and made heads turn in an outfit that reminded us of Katy Perry’s 2019 Met Gala chandelier costume. He donned a Marina Hoermanseder couture comprising a crew neck t-shirt paired with matching pants and a blazer, all with dollar notes printed on them. The show-stealing outfit, unquestionably, comprised a matching chandelier hat featuring silver glittering pearls all the way.
Leomie Anderson
Model Leomie Anderson showed off her edgy sense of style as she walked the red carpet at the 2022 MTV EMAs. She picked one piece from this Versace Fall 2022 runway look and gave her own twist to it with the latex. Love it or hate it, you’ve to admit that she looked incredible it flaunted Leomie’s stunning figure. The model posed for paparazzi snaps as she wore a dazzling, sensuous, and edgy black PVC mini dress with a latex mini skirt, matching crop top and glistening bejewelled silver chains. She paired her outfit with matching elbow-length latex gloves and sparkling jewellery for a sizzling addition to the overall look.
