Ryan Lawrie is best known for appearing on The X Factor in 2016 as a solo artist. After being brought back as a wildcard, he finished in sixth place and was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger. He first started in the music industry back in 2013, releasing a track called ‘You’re Free,’ with proceeds going to a local hospital. Prior to appearing on The X Factor, Ryan was a member of boy band Exposure – made up of other members Giles Potter, Jake O’Shea and Jamie Hutchinson, but left the band to pursue a solo career.
At the start of 2017, Ryan featured on The X Factor Live Tour, along with other acts Matt Terry, Saara Aalto, 5 After Midnight, Emily Middlemas, Honey G, Sam Lavery and Four of Diamonds.
