BTS Receives YouTube Diamond Play Button for Surpassing 10 Million Subscribers

BTS has received the Diamond Play Button from YouTube for surpassing 10 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, BANGTANTV.

The group shared the news on Twitter with a few pictures of the Diamond Play Button. They thanked fans for helping them reach the achievement, writing, “Everybody~!! BANGTANTV has received a YouTube button with over 10 million subscribers. Thank you very much.” In a second tweet, BTS members RM and Jin also shared a few selfies of themselves with their new trophy. Take a look below.

BANGTANTV is the group’s YouTube channel where they post different types of content, such as dance practices, behind-the-scenes of their performances, or vlogs of their time overseas. Since last year, one type of video series that has gained popularity within the group’s fandom is their “G.C.F” videos. Videos with the title “G.C.F” are directed by the group’s youngest member, Jungkook, and show the members travelling to different cities around the world.

A day after receiving their prestigious award, the septet shared a video to BANGTANTV thanking fans for their support. “You amaze us and inspire us everyday,” RM says.

While most of BTS’ videos are uploaded on BANGTANTV, the group’s music videos are uploaded on their agency’s YouTube channel, iBigHit, which currently has over 15 million subscribers.
