The Chainsmokers and Emily Warren have released the music video for their new single ‘Side Effects’, and fans of Riverdale will definitely want to check it out.
The Matthew Dillon Cohen directed visual stars actress Camila Mendes, best known for playing Veronica Lodge in the American teen drama. Taking place in a hotel, Camila plays a staff member called Riley who is told that she is going to be working over the weekend.
With no intention of doing any work, Camila’s character whips off her green uniform to unveil a playful pink ensemble before she begins to dance the night away. From showcasing her moves around the poolside and using her goofiness to try and make a cop smile, to dancing in the dark surrounded by balloons and jumping into the pool, she is clearly having the best time.
Emily Warren and The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart and Alex Pall all make a brief appearance in the video, as the camera pans across their hotel rooms, showing us what they’re getting up to.

Since its release, ‘Side Effects’ has garnered over 20 million streams on Spotify and has entered the Top 20 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, peaking at number 18.
