With only three weeks to go until it’s release, the excitement for Descendants 2 keeps on building. We have had a range of teasers and trailers from Disney over the past few months, and this does not seem to be changing anytime soon.
Today, Disney released the latest teaser in the lead-up to the release. This comes in the form of the “CARscendants” video for “What’s My Name”. In the film, newcomer China Anne McClain takes the lead in this song, with Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair also featuring.
The video sees the cast having a laugh whilst singing along to one of the biggest hits from the film. We love this video as it shows the cast enjoying themselves. It has made us even more excited to see the film. You can watch the film on 21 July, when five networks (Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC, Freeform and Lifetime) will be broadcasting the film simultaneously.

As well as this, Disney recently dropped a similar video of the cast singing along to “Ways To Be Wicked”.

The release of this Disney film has been one of the most highly anticipated, and it’s not hard to see why. So far, we have had a series of trailers from Disney in the lead up to the official trailer for the film. First, we had a teaser video; then, a ‘Long Live Evil’ trailer; before, being treated to another teaser video.
If this is not enough to keep you going until the film’s release there is also a behind the scenes video, as well as promotional posters. More recently, we have had an official music video for “What’s My Name”. Sneak peeks at the sword fighting in “It’s Going Down” and a teaser for “Meet The Forgotten Villian Kids” have also been released.
The cast of the film (Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart and Cameron Boyce) have also done some promotional work. A few weeks ago they opened the Radio Disney Music Awards with the world premiere of “Ways To Be Wicked”. They also performed the track on Dancing With The Stars.
