With Marlene King announcing that Pretty Little Liars will come to an end after Season 7, she has tried to soften the blow slightly by dropping the first trailer for her new show Famous In Love.
King is the executive producer of Famous In Love and has revealed that it will premiere on Freeform straight after the season finale of Pretty Little Liars in April 2017. The show will star Bella Thorne as Paige, a college student who auditions for a role in a blockbuster adaptation of a hit YA novel series.
Paige gets the part, and soon enough the whole world is infatuated with her. Both Paige and her friends are left to adjust to her new found fame, as she is forced to navigate through the highs and lows that come with stardom.
The series is based on the books by Rebecca Serle. The show will also star Carter Jenkins, Jesse Henderson, Keith Powers, Niki Koss and Georgie Flores.
With the tagline, “The brighter the spotlight, the darker the secrets”, the show is set to be full of unexpected twists and turns. We think that the trailer looks rather promising!
