After announcing their split in early November of last year, Only The Young – who consisted of members Charlie George, Betsy-Blue English, Mikey Bromley and Parisa Tarjomani – have been working on various solo projects.
The band were on The X Factor in 2014, finishing seventh place. Prior to the show, the band had performed at Wembley Arena at the Capital FM Summertime Ball as the Vodafone ‘Future Breaker’ Act.
Following the show and performing on The X Factor Tour, the band released their single ‘I Do’ which was released on 7 August. The band then went on their own headline tour around the UK and Ireland before announcing their split in November.
But what have the band been up to since they went their separate ways?
Charlie George
Charlie now owns ‘Mix Magic Tours’ and does a lot of producing work. He did a cover of ‘Pillow Talk’ and ‘Sorry’ on his YouTube channel and has been working on a cover with Parisa. Betsy-Blue English
Betsy has been involved in various projects since the band split. She now has her own app, called ‘It’s Thursday Tho’ where she has a diary where she shares her thoughts and has a lot of fashion advice. On the app, she has also done make up tutorials on her day-to-day look. Along with boyfriend Casey Johnson, member of Union J, they have been extremely busy working on a secret project – with more details set to be revealed in the near future! Mikey Bromley
Shortly after the band split, Mikey released his own album and went on his own headline tour and was set to go on another tour which would have allowed fans the opportunity to spend more time with him. However, he cancelled the tour, saying that he had been given an exciting opportunity with a band but he couldn’t reveal anything. A few months on, he has still remained quiet about the band (ABTLSTNT). In his statement about the cancellation of the tour, he said he hoped to tour the UK again in the future. Parisa Tarjomani
