Ahead of the release of their debut album Memories…Do Not Open, The Chainsmokers have surprised fans by dropping another track from it.
‘The One’ is the first song on the album, and is different to anything we’ve heard from the duo previously. The track is a gorgeous personal piano ballad, with Drew taking on vocal duties again. It culminates with an EDM vibe, something we’re familiar with hearing from the guys. However, on a whole it’s great to hear another side to the duo, as they demonstrate their versatility as artists.
The duo, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, shared the track release via Instagram and Snapchat.
