Continuing with Radio 1’s Live Lounge month, today was Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson’s turn to deliver an epic performance.

As with every Live Lounge, they were invited to perform a cover and opted to take on Fifth Harmony’s ever popular smash hit ‘Work From Home‘. Not content with just adding some signature Clean Bandit strings and club beats to transform the track, the band and Louisa also turned it into a memorable mash-up.

The mash-up song in question? Only Daniel Bedingfield’s classic 2001 hit ‘Gotta Get Thru This’! Our minds were blown – it was definitely one of those ‘shouldn’t work, but totally does’ moments. Check it out for yourself below.

Of course, Clean Bandit and Louisa couldn’t come to the Live Lounge without performing their own track ‘Tears’ too. It’s safe to say that Louisa slayed the vocals, have a listen below.

During the Live Lounge, Clean Bandit revealed that they’re having difficulty picking songs for their album. They have between 30-40 finished songs but are having some trouble narrowing them down. They also spoke about Sean Paul, and said that they’ve worked with him on several tracks, calling it a surreal experience.

We can also expect Louisa’s debut album, which should hopefully drop later this year. If ‘Tears’ is anything to go by, then we’re truly excited for her musical future.

Live Lounge month continues this week, with performances from Blossoms, Olly Murs, Jack Garratt and Craig David/Sigala.
