Slam Dunk Festival is a rock enthusiast’s dream. This year, the line up again boasts an eclectic mix of performances. Whether you’re dancing to Panic! At The Disco or fighting your way through a Cancer Bats pit, Slam Dunk is primed to be a stellar time. Let us break the day down for you:

    Main Stage

The crown jewel of Slam Dunk Festival, this year’s Main Stage is loaded with impressive names. New wave ‘emo’ connoisseurs Moose Blood are set to kick off the day, followed by Young Guns, Mayday Parade, and a full album play through of Yellowcard’s Ocean Avenue. Later in the day, Cambridge’s Mallory Knox will take to the stage, leaving New Found Glory and pop punk’s finest Panic! At The Disco to close the night.

Check out Panic! At The Disco’s latest video ‘Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time’ below:

    Atlas Stage

If you’re a fan of the heavier stuff, we’ll probably find you at the Atlas Stage. Californian quintet Of Mice & Men are geared to headline, preceded by sets from Issues, Memphis May Fire, The Amity Affliction, Northlane, We Came As Romans, The Word Alive, and Coldrain. If the Atlas Stage is your plan, expect to get rained on by warm beer once or twice. Things are set to get wild.

Listen to Of Mice & Men’s ‘Broken Generation’ below:

    Key Club Stage

Love a bit of classic pop punk? Head down to the Key Club Stage for sets from ROAM, Hit The Lights, As It Is, Four Year Strong, Real Friends, Set Your Goals, and Trash Boat. The stage will be headlined by pop punk veterans The Story So Far. If this is your genre, we’ll know where to find you.

Check out The Story So Far classic ‘Quicksand’ here:

    Desperados Stage

The Desperdos Stage will see a headline set from the recently reformed The King Blues. Zebra head, Capdown, King Prawn, Catch Twenty-Two, Spunge, The JB Conspiracy and The Beat will also grace the stage throughout the day. Get ready for a throwback.

Check out The King Blues ‘I Got Love’ here:

    Impericon Stage

Amping up the volume at the Impericon Stage are The One Hundred, WSTR, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk, Gnarwolves, Heart Of A Coward, Hacktivist, Norma Jean, Cancer Bats, and Every Time I Die.

Listen to Every Time I Die’s ‘Wanderlust’ below:

    Kerrang! Fresh Blood Stage

Ready to meet your new favourite band? Let Kerrang!‘s Fresh Blood Stage help you out. This year, the stage will be introducing a new gang of promising artists to the UK. Slam Dunk, meet With Confidence, Waterparks, Dead!, Cane Hill, Boston Manor, Blood Youth, Hellions, and Creeper. The stage will be headlined by the not-so-new alternative rock quintet New Years Day.

Check out New Years Day’s ‘I’m About To Break You’ here:

Slam Dunk Festival will take place over the weekend of May 28th-30th in Leeds, Birmingham, and Hatfield respectively. You can find ticket information, site maps, and the full line up poster at the Slam Dunk website.
