Welcome back to CelebMix’s New Music Round Up playlist, the very first edition for the month of October.

As we enter Q4 of 2018, we’re preparing for some of the biggest music releases of the year. Over the past week, we’ve already been treated to some real gems from some of our favourite artists.

Kicking off this week’s round up is Olly Murs, who made a welcome return with his brand new single ‘Moves’ featuring legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. With his ten year anniversary in the music industry fast approaching, we’re very excited for this new chapter of music from Olly.

Current X Factor winners Rak-Su dropped their new single ‘I Want You To Freak’, whilst Shawn Mendes teamed up with Zedd for an amazing remix of his track ‘Lost In Japan’. Other collaborations over the past few days include Lauv and Julia Michaels’ track ‘There’s No Way’, PRETTYMUCH and Rich The Kid’s ‘Solita’, and Phantoms and Vanessa Hudgens’ ‘Lay With Me’.

On the albums front, Sigala dropped his highly anticipated debut album Brighter Days, which includes collaborations with everyone from Kylie to HRVY. Against The Current also released their brand new offering Past Lives.

Other new releases this week came from the likes of Pentatonix, Kim Petras, Sam Callahan, Emily Middlemas, Megan Bird, Panicland, Sasha Sloan, Kyan Palmer, Liv Austen, and Tilian Pearson.

However, as usual we have only just touched the surface. From DJ Snake, Ozuna, Selena Gomez and Cardi B’s hot new collab ‘Taki Taki’ to Cher’s Dancing Queen album in tribute to Abba, there are so many new music releases out there waiting to be discovered. To make it easy for you, we’ve put all of our favourites in one handy playlist which you can check out below.

Don’t forget to check back with us next week for another New Music Round Up Playlist.
