Danny Pino is Set to Join “Scandal”

Danny Pino will be joining the political thriller Scandal.

According to Variety, Pino will appear during the current season of the show. No information about his character has been released, but it has been announced that he has a recurring role.

Pino previously starred as Scotty Valens on Cold Case during all seven seasons, and as Nick Amaro on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 until last year. The actor will also be a series regular on CBS’ new summer show BrainDead. The show is created by Robert and Michelle King who are also behind The Good Wife.

Scandal airs on ABC at 9 PM every Thursday.
