It’s that time again where we round up all of this week’s new music releases for your enjoyment, and what a week it’s been!
Leading the pack this week are K-Pop sensations BTS, who released their new album Love Yourself: Tear. It looks likely that the band will claim their first UK top 10 album on Friday, in addition to incredible success across the globe.
It’s also been a collab-heavy week, with Demi Lovato at the forefront of it all, releasing two new duets. First off, she teamed up with fellow vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera to release the empowering ‘Fall In Line’. Later on in the week, she followed through with a brand new summer bop called ‘Solo’ with electric-classical trio Clean Bandit.
Pharrell Williams and Camila Cabello joined forces to release their summer vibe ‘Sangria Wine’, whilst OneRepublic and Logic were looking for a fresh start with ‘Start Again’, taken from the soundtrack to 13 Reasons Why. Jennifer Lopez also released her new banger, ‘Dinero’ featuring DJ Khaled and Cardi B.
Other new music releases came from the likes of Backstreet Boys, Shawn Mendes, Black Eyed Peas, Jessie J, Brooke Candy, Yellow Claw, Solomon Ray, The Faim, West Thebarton, Fond of Rudy, Eloise, Dan Miz, Kit Rice, ON1Y, Karmen featuring Krishane, Papa Roach x Kayzo, Courtney Cooper, and Denvre.
As usual, we’ve got a few more new music round up additions up our sleeve which we’d love to share with you. Check them out below.
Stefflon Don – ‘Senseless’
Rapper and singer Stefflon Don is ready to have a huge summer with the release of her new single, ‘Senseless’. You may have already heard snippets of the song in the advert for her recently released Stefflon Don x boohoo collaboration, however, the track in full allows her to showcase her Jamaican roots, creating a big summer infused offering.
Bella Thorne – ‘Bitch I’m Bella Thorne’ / ‘Goat’
Bella Thorne knows how to do New Music Friday right. She released not one, but TWO new tracks: ‘Bitch I’m Bella Thorne’ and ‘Goat’. Both tracks see Bella showcase her fierce side and give a taste of what we can expect from her future releases.
Olive B – ‘Joey Moon’
‘Joey Moon’ is the latest offering from Olive B. Produced by Chewy, Olive B says of the song: “When it came to creating my new single, Chewy sent me the beat and 30 minutes later, I responded with the freestyle for the first verse of “joey moon.” The song’s name comes from my dad’s high school band – Joey Moon and The Crescents.”
Run Maggie Run – ‘Endlessly’
‘Endlessly’ is the new single from five-piece band Run Maggie Run. After releasing their debut album last year, a lot has changed for the band in terms of line up and sound. ‘Endlessly’ perfectly marks the changes, developments and experiences during this time. Speaking about the track, they said: “We wrote this tune during the first few months following the lineup change, and the success of writing it definitely helped push us through that awkward, transitional phase. Arguably, it’s what gave us the confidence to keep moving forward.”
Moska – ‘House Religion’
DJ and producer Moska has released his latest offering ‘House Religion’, via Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom. Speaking about the track, he said: “2018 has been an amazing year. I’m very honored to be part of Musical Freedom Family, the support to my music is impressive and ‘House Religion’ is a special track for – I think the fans will love it!”
Hannah Grace – ‘Oh River’
Produced by Jonathan Quarmby (Benjamin Clementine, James Arthur), ‘Oh River’ is the new single from singer-songwriter Hannah Grace. The track follows on from her stunning cover of Fatboy Slim’s ‘Praise You’ last year. Speaking about ‘Oh River’, Hannah said: “I wrote this song with a wonderful songwriter and friend Jessica Sharman and as soon as we wrote it I knew that it would be one of the defining tracks on my debut album. My Dad always said to me growing up, ‘Be with the ones you’re with’ and it is a phrase that has stayed with me ever since. ‘Oh River’ is about appreciating the world around you and living in the moment.”
NeoRomantics – Homecoming EP
Homecoming is the new EP from Tulsa based rock band NeoRomantics. The five-track EP is made up of ‘Gold Plated’, ‘Concentrated’, ‘From Ella’s’, ‘Take Me Back, Make It Last’, and ‘Issues’. Listeners can expect a personal record which delves into topics such as abandoning toxic relationships, growth, and parental influence on trust.
