Last month, the French public broadcaster France Télévisions announced that Tom Leeb will be France’s representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Now, the Parisian singer-songwriter performed his song “The Best In Me” for the first time on the top of the Eiffel Tower.
The presentation of Tom Leeb’s song was an exceptional moment that took all our breaths away. Therefore, it’s not a secret anymore that their goal for this year is to bring France close to the podium, as last year, Bilal Hassani ended 16th in the Grand Final with “Roi”.
“The Best In Me” is a multi-lingual French-English ballad written by Sweden’s Eurovision 2019 representative John Lundvik, France’s Eurovision 2016 participant Amir Haddad, Tom Leeb and Léa Ivanne. The composers are Peter Boström and Thomas G:son, who have both been successful with Loreen’s “Euphoria” in 2012.
